Angels really do fly

When life looked darkest, Don Griffith says, his â€œangelsâ€ appeared.
â€œSuddenly, there was a flicker of light,â€ recalls the 71-year-old Wimer resident.
The â€œangelsâ€ were the pilots who flew Griffith from Medford to Portland for surgery and treatment of advanced esophageal cancer at Oregon Health & Science University.
