When Sonny Haas was in his 20s, he never imagined his acid reflux would lead to cancer.
He was eventually diagnosed with Barrett’s Esophagus, and he took medication for years. The burning in his chest stopped, so he stopped taking it.
“Then back in March, I started having some pain when I swallowed and some chest pains,” Haas said.
The 75-year-old had an endoscopy, which showed the worst.
