Cancer death rate has dropped 25 percent

e nationâ€™s cancer death rateÂ has dropped 25 percent since 1991,Â according to theÂ latest annual report from the American Cancer Society, a decline experts say is driven by long-running emphasis on smoking cessation, preventive screenings and early detection.
