In Esophageal Cancer, Lung Radiation Dose Affects Survival

Among patients undergoing chemoradiation therapy (CRT) for localized esophageal cancer, the dose of radiation that reaches the lung, but not that reaching the heart, has been shown to be an independent predictor of survival.
