What is Barrett’s Esophagus?
Barrettâ€™s esophagus, also called BE or Barrett’s Syndrome, is a condition in which tissue that is similar to the lining of your intestine replaces the tissue lining your esophagus. Doctors call this process intestinal metaplasia.
