New Technique For Esophagus Dilemma

(Omaha, NE)  –  A new technique is being used at the Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton University Medical Center. Doctors say repeated dousing in acid and bile reflux could cause cancer of the esophagus.

A new procedure called HALO burns away the lining susceptible to cancer with a desired effect to defeat a precancerous condition known as Barrett’s esophagus.
