Bowling Fundraiser in NYC

I despise Esophageal Cancer!  It took something away from me, my son, my husband, our families and our friends.  Neither of them will be there to celebrate or console now or in the future.  They were both wonderful men who were too young to leave us while they had so much to do, share and love.

As anyone who knows someone who has been through chemo and radiation knows, there are great side effects.  The fatigue and neuropathy are overwhelming as is the mental toll it takes on the patient and the family.  There are not always services available.  This is why my husband, David, and I founded the Cohen Esophageal Cancer Initiative.  We wanted to help raise awareness, promote screening and provide education, as well as, counseling to patients, families and caregivers, while partnering on research efforts.

It is with great pleasure that we are sponsoring our 3rd annual fundraising event.  It will be held at Bowlmor Lanes in New York City on Monday April 23rd and it is a time for the entire family to get involved.  There will be raffles, food and bowling for all ages.  Click here for details about the event.  If you cannot make it to the event and wish to make a donation, click the Donate button below.

The Foundation received its 501(c) (3) IRS designation as a charitable organization and therefore making the donations that it receives fully tax deductible to the donor.
