Types of Esophageal Cancer

Esophageal cancer is that which is caused by the growth of a malignant tumor within a person’s esophagus, which is the pathway by which food travels from an individual’s mouth all the way to their stomach. Although it is not as common in the United States, it seems to occur most often in men over the age of 50.
