A word from Dr. Pfenninger about obesity and cancer

Most of us know that obesity is related an increased incidence of diabetes, strokes, and heart attacks. Less well-known is the fact that obesity is linked with many cancers. These include breast (in women past menopause), stomach, colon and rectum, endometrium (lining of the uterus), esophagus, kidney, pancreas, gall bladder, liver, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, multiple myeloma, ovary, and aggressive forms of prostate cancer.
