Patient and Caregiver Support Groups

The Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation (ECEF) facilitates free monthly Support Group Zoom Meetings for Esophageal Cancer patients and caregivers as follows:

POST SURGERY MEETINGS DISCUSSING ISSUES AND PROBLEMS.
We have a post-surgery Zoom meeting twice a month for patient and caregivers who have been through an esophagectomy. We meet on the second Thursday and third Wednesday of each month. We have two Thoracic Surgeons attending each of these Zoom meetings.  We do have patients who are beginning their journey through this disease attend these meetings as well. Our meetings start at 8:00 PM (EST) and last for one hour.

ESOPHAGEAL AND STOMACH CANCER RECURRENCE / STAGE IV
We have one meeting a month for patient and caregivers involved in a recurrence or stage IV condition for both stomach and esophageal cancers.
We have two Medical Oncologist attending each of these Zoom meetings. These meetings also start at 8:00PM (EST).
