Gene discovery at Cambridge University sparks hope for new throat cancer treatment

Cambridge University scientists have discovered a gene linked to throat cancer which could lead to a new treatment within five years.
Around 8,500 people are diagnosed with notoriously difficult-to-fight oesophageal cancer in the UK every year
